Learn key nursing skills and practice them in a variety of real-world settings.

The Practical Nursing Program,  approved by the Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN),  combines classroom instruction with hands-on skills labs and supervised clinical instruction in local healthcare facilities and other community facilities.

Upon completion of the PN program,  graduates are awarded a diploma in Practical Nursing and are eligible to apply to the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-PN)  to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Our PN program is offered in different formats on our Downtown and Carrollton campuses.  The Carrollton campus PN program operates in a hybrid format,  which gives students the unique opportunity to complete lectures primarily online and attend labs/clinicals two-three nights during the week
