Description

Learn to provide pre-hospital emergency care to acutely ill or injured patients.

This full-time associate degree program,  which combines academic and laboratory courses with high-tech clinical instruction,  prepares students to assume the responsibilities of a Paramedic Technologist.

Housed on the Downtown and Carrollton campuses,  the Paramedic Technology program at Jefferson trains students to provide care in a variety of environments including ambulance,  mobile advanced life support units,  industrial on-site units,  fire departments and other sites.

Students must complete 63-  67 credit hours which will lead to an Associate in Applied Science degree.  The curriculum includes coursework in the supporting sciences,  general education areas and core program requirements.  Current EMTs interested in this opportunity should contact the Paramedic Technology coordinator for additional information.
