Purpose:

To provide employment coaching through building relationships with customers and employers,  provide job preparation skills and assistance for customers,  assisting with job placement,  follow up with employed individuals progress,  and provide support with a customer-first attitude.

This is an Exempt position with a salary range of $37,000 -  $39,000.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the customers of Brighton Center programs with resume and cover letter preparation services
  • Interview preparation
  • Provide career counseling and develop individualized placement goals
  • Develop and maintain relationship with job shadow and employment opportunities
  • Provide employment placement assistance
  • Follow up with employed customers for two years after they start employment

Qualifications / Career Path

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and/or combination of education/training and experience (professional and/or lived)  is valued and will be highly considered.
  • 2-3 years’  experience in Workforce Development and/or Non-profit work
  • Customer service experience
