Description

Purpose:

To build capacity in housing development projects that include multifamily and single-family units so more income-aligned units can be made available in the region.

This position has a salary range of $42,500 -  $44,000.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Researching homes that are for sale or vacant 
  • Building partnerships with city officials,  realtors,  and vendors 
  • Assisting with cost analysis,  proformas,  and budgets for potential projects
  • Working with project management team 
  • Marketing of Brighton Properties and developments 
  • Assisting with the funding application process

Qualifications / Career Path

Requirements:

  • Strong Customer Service Skills 
  • Knowledge of HUD,  Fair Housing,  LIHTC,  Kentucky Housing Corporation,  and Federal Home Loan Bank products a plus 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or a combination of education and a minimum of 2 years experience 
  • Strong multitasking skills 
  • Budget,  grant writing,  marketing,  and research skills are a plus
